Armenia responds to the Turkish-Azerbaijani bluff that regional projects will bypass our country if they do not have the "corridor" they want.
The project, signed by the Prime Minister under the name Crossroads of Peace, assumes sovereignty and jurisdiction over all infrastructure that passes through the country.
The Armenian side emphasizes that these roads can be used for both international and domestic transportation, in addition, infrastructures can be used while maintaining the principle of equality and reciprocity.
Why are experts convinced that the prospect of getting a second route through Iran is not a reason for Azerbaijan and Turkey to abandon the so-called 'Zangezur Corridor'?
A second road controlled by Iran cannot be an alternative to another road passing through Iran. The goal of Baku and Ankara is the extraterritorial road through Armenia.
After the unchanging position of Yerevan, Tehran and the West, however, Aliyev and Erdogan put diplomacy into action with a clear division of roles - one tries to convince the world that Armenia is destructive, refuses to unblock the region, the other does not miss the opportunity to make it clear that the pressure to get a corridor will continue.
