We highlight our relations with the USA, our traditional partner, the Russian Federation, with which we are connected in many spheres. Armenia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan announced this at the joint session of the National Assembly's standing committees, presenting the Forreign Ministry's plans and results.
"I also see smiles and it is visible that there are some problems in this relationship. We are not satisfied with many things, we are surprised by many things, as far as I understand, there is a similar attitude in Russia. We are sure that what our Russian partners are surprised by is a consequence of the policy that we have seen in various media outlets, etc., but this is a long story, a separate topic. I want to say that we have no other position than to constructively discuss and understand the problems, smooth them out and amicably move forward in partnership," said the Foreign Minister.
According to him, this is the position of the Armenian side.
"We are working in this direction, we hope it will work. Of course, everything I say is in the field of foreign relations, it does not depend on one side," Mirzoyan stated stressing that this must be a bilateral work.
The Minister also spoke about relations with India and China, noted that developments in relations with India are public, there will be new directions, new programs, and Armenia is interested in the development of direct, unmediated partnership relations with China.
