Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdolahian in a meeting with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed the recent developments in Palestine, IRNA reports. Amirabdollahian noted that the last political opportunities should be used to stop the Gaza war, and if the situation gets out of control, no party will be safe from its consequences.
The top Iranian diplomat called on “Islamic countries to take practical and unified stances to end the Israeli regime's atrocities on the oppressed Palestinians and lift the Gaza siege”.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian had a meeting also with the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Hamas movement Ismail Haniyeh, reviewed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.
Amirabdollahian met and held talks with Haniyeh in Doha, Qatar on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the situation in the Gaza Strip.
