On October 26, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Joshua Huck, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Southern Europe and Eurasian Affairs, who arrived in Armenia in the framework of a regional visit.
Issues related to regional security and stability were discussed, including problems of normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, delimitation of the border between the two countries and unblocking regional infrastructures under the territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction of respective states.
The interlocutors touched upon the forced displacement of more than 100,000 people of Nagorno-Karabakh resulting from ethnic cleansing by Azerbaijan and the need to address their primary needs in the current humanitarian situation as well as further rights.
