Reuters. Slovakia's newly appointed Prime Minister, Robert Fico, said on Thursday (October 26) that he will not back further military aid for Ukraine.
Before heading to Brussels on Thursday, Fico, a three-time prime minister who was last in power in 2018 and was appointed for a fourth time as prime minister on Wednesday (October 25), told a parliamentary committee that he would not support military aid for Kyiv.
Slovakia's government office did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
Fico also told Slovak media that he would not support further sanctions against Russia.
