The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, invited the members of the organization to participate in the meeting on October 26, during which, according to the Council President, it is planned to discuss the developments in the Middle East, to again condemn the actions of Hamas and recognize Israel's right to self-defense, while not deviating from their constant support for Ukraine. It was mentioned in the
press release of the European Council.
It includes, in particular, ways to accelerate military support to Kyiv, plans to use Russia's frozen assets and intensify diplomatic contacts.
Charles Michel noted that they will also address other issues related to foreign policy, including the relations between Pristina and Belgrade, the situation in the Sahel and the South Caucasus.
