During a last week visit to China Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan met with Chinese Deputy Minister of Commerce Lin Ji, the press service of the Ministry of Economy reports.
It said a number of issues were discussed, on which agreements had been reached during Kerobyan's previous visit to China this past June.
The sides were said to exchange views on the possible involvment of Chinese companies in such sectors of Armenia's economy as infrastructure, mining, processing industry, high technologies and logistics.
Special attention was paid to Armenia's bid to join the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
Armenia's bid to join the AIIB had been discussed last week during Kerobyan's meeting with Vice President and Corporate Secretary of the Asian Infrastructure Bank Ludger Schuknecht, who expressed readiness to assist Armenia in this matter.
