The Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan said that holding a 3+3 meeting is in line with the neighborliness policy of the Raisi administration.
The meeting will be held on Monday, October 23 in Tehran.
"Regionalism and the formation of regional mechanisms with diverse goals are emerging features of the new world order," Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Abbas Mousavi wrote on X (former Twitter) on Sunday evening.
Iranian diplomat noted in the end that the presence and the interference of third parties in the Caucasus issues is "prohibited!"
The parties will discuss the issues of the South Caucasus region and try to expand regional cooperation.
Foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Iran, Russia, and Türkiye plan to hold a 3+3 meeting in Tehran tomorrow.
