Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with ambassadors of European Union countries. He presented the situation in the South Caucasus after the Azerbaijani military aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh.
Bayramov claimed that the goal of Azerbaijan's actions is stability in the region and that Baku is ready to guarantee the rights of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The perspective of the peace process between Baku and Yerevan was also touched upon. "The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that a historic opportunity has been created to achieve peace in the region," the ministry's statement reads.
