On October 23, the meeting of the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the European Union will take place in Luxembourg. The three important topics on the agenda are Israel and the Gaza Strip, Ukraine, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
According to the high-ranking representative of the EU, the situation in the Middle East will be discussed first, Ukraine will be the second topic, and the South Caucasus will be the third topic.
"When discussing the conflict in the Middle East, the ministers will look at ways to prevent further escalation in the region, humanitarian aid, the release of hostages, and the protection of the civilian population.
Regarding Ukraine, consultations have been going on for some time regarding mid-term and long-term security guarantees, Zelensky's "peaceful resolution". They will also be in the center of attention of the ministers," said the European source.
According to him, European mediation will be discussed regarding the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the expansion of EU support and cooperation with Armenia.
