Russian peacekeepers continue to implement their tasks in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. The bulletin of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports that continuous cooperation is maintained with Baku, the purpose of which is to prevent bloodshed, ensure security and maintain the provision of humanitarian law norms to the civilian population.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports that there were no violations of the ceasefire regime in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping mission.
"In general, since September 19, 2023, along the former contact line of Askeran, Martakert, Martunի and Shushi regions, eight Russian peacekeepers' observation posts and another 16 temporary observation posts have been dismantled. In order to ensure the safety of road traffic, 13 checkpoints were deployed, including 8 in cooperation with the Azerbaijani side. With the participation of Russian peacekeepers, works are being carried out in the direction of restoring electricity and gas supply to settlements in Nagorno-Karabakh," reports the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
