It is supposed that the Azerbaijani side should present its position regarding the statement adopted as a result of the meeting in Granada on October 5 without Aliyev's participation, said Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan, emphasizing that Armenia considers this statement a landmark for the normalization of relations with Azerbaijan. Referring to the prospect of opening the Armenian-Turkish border, the Deputy Foreign Minister stressed that Armenia is ready for it, and the ball is in Turkey's court.
Continuing the topic of Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations and the possibility of meeting on the Moscow platform, Kostanyan noted: "Armenia wants to achieve peace." At the same time, according to the Deputy Foreign Minister, it is important that "Armenia's partners, in whose presence the discussions with the Azerbaijani side take place, do not try to advance the bilateral agenda at the expense of the interests of Armenia."
