Magnitude 3.0 earthquake hit 18 km north of Jermuk, near the Armenian-Azerbaijani border at 16:00 local time (12:00 GMT).
According to the Seismic Protection Survive of the Armenian Ministry of Interior, the quake was registered at the depth of 10 km and the intensity reached 4 at the epicenter.
The earthquake was felt in the city of Jermuk, the villages of Gndevaz and Kechut, as well as in Gegharkunik’s Karchaghbyur village.
