Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov discussed the process of normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan during a meeting with US Secretary of State, Senior Adviser on Caucasus Negotiations Louis Bono, the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan reported.
The MFA report stated that during the meeting, ideas were exchanged on the agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and the US, the current situation in the region, the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, "steps taken by Azerbaijan towards the reintegration of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians".
Bayramov once again stated that Azerbaijan did not carry out ethnic cleansing, noting: Karabakh Armenians voluntarily left the region.
