Prime Minister's Press Secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan presented from the Government's "Humanitarian Center" the measures that the Armenian government implements to take care of the humanitarian needs of people forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh.
Nazeli Baghdasaryan stated that the number of forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno Karabakh remains the same: 100,632. According to data provided by the Migration and Citizenship Service, 99.3 percent of data is processed, ie registered and identified.
The distribution continues both in the regions of Armenia and in Yerevan. People are now moving to rented apartments for the next 6 months after being accommodated in hostels and guest houses intended for the first-days.
According to the data provided by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, at the moment 76,692 people are in different regions of Armenia. The distribution by regions is as follows: Aragatsotn: 4109, Ararat: 18367, Armavir: 8144, Gegharkunik: 4895, Lori: 4541, Kotayk: 22150, Shirak: 3556, Syunik: 5438, Vayots Dzor: 2303, Tavush: 3189. The state ensured the accommodation of about 58,000 of the total arrivals, while others were provided with food, hygiene items, medicines, etc.
Referring to the questions received on the hotline, Nazeli Baghdasaryan noted that it is mostly stated that they did not receive the 100,000 AMD and added that as it was said the day before, about 50 percent of the money of registered persons was transferred to the bank card accounts provided by the Central Bank, and the process will continue on Monday. The Prime Minister's press secretary also touched on the topic of health. She noted that at the moment there are 302 patients in health institutions, 113 are in serious condition, 11 are in extremely serious condition. 5 children continue to remain in the intensive care unit, 8 children continue to receive inpatient care. Nazeli Baghdasaryan added that yesterday 7 patients from Armenia were transferred to different medical facilities in France and Bulgaria. 13,646 people have already been registered at the primary health centers. The Ministry of Health is also continuing to register health workers who wish to work in the field. Thus, 261 health workers have already registered at the National Institute of Health. 125 people are senior medical workers, 136 are paramedical workers. There are vacancies for 273 senior health workers and 59 junior health workers.
The press secretary of the Prime Minister noted that for the minors to be provided with the one-time support of AMD 100,000, it is necessary for the parent or guardian to enter the online application system of the Unified Social Service at www.dimum.ssa.am and fill in the child's data.
