The Japanese government has decided to allocate a grant of $2 million, which will be used in order to help the Armenian refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh. This is noted in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
It is noted that these funds will be transferred through the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
This Japanese government grant will be used in order to acquire non-food items, medicine, and water supplies.
