Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahe Gevorgyan on Friday met with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, in Geneva, Switzerland.
Gevorgyan briefed to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights on the policy of ethnic cleansing carried out against the Armenian people of Nagorno-Karabakh by Azerbaijan, as well as the latter’s massive human rights violations and crimes, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia reports.
During the meeting, they discussed the protection of the rights of Armenian refugees forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.
