Issues related to the location of the Russian military base in Armenia are regulated by relevant documents. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said this in a briefing, answering the question whether the Russian side expects negative steps from Yerevan regarding the future of the Russian military base in Armenia.
"First, we are still proceeding from our agreements, which are recorded on paper. Second, we will respond concretely to all specific steps and decisions. As for speculations about what might happen, that's what analysts do. We interpret the current events that have already taken place or the events that will definitely happen," said Zakharova.
"If we talk about the Russian position, it is fixed in the relevant documents, it is legally formulated," Zakharova noted.
