Russia has not received a request for assistance regarding the release of the former leaders of Nagorno-Karabakh arrested by Azerbaijan, and their return to Armenia. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian foreign ministry, announced this at Wednesday’s ministry press briefing.
"There was no formal or informal petition unless we take into account the information domain and most of what was said there," Zakharova noted.
