For months, the Republic of Armenia appealed, alerted, informed, responded, and demanded intervention from many international structures and, first of all, from the United Nations and its relevant agencies, including the Security Council meetings. Unfortunately, we did not receive an adequate response, and we have raised this issue. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said this while answering the question of 'Civil Contract' faction deputy Armen Khachatryan about the realities in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"Are you referring to the entry of the relevant UN group into Nagorno-Karabakh a day or two ago? My response to that is as follows: if this is the UN's response, it is too late and too little. On the other hand, I want to express hope that this is not the reaction that the UN and its agencies will have to show in this case, yes, unfortunately late, but nevertheless. As far as I know, the statement of the relevant agency, the agency that carried out that mission, is being prepared, and the conclusions that have been drawn are not those of that agency. At least, this is what they assured me, they also assured me at the same time that there will be a corresponding statement from that very agency. We will wait, we will see," said Ararat Mirzoyan.
