French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, following her meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, reiterated France's commitment to vigilance against any threats or ideas that challenge Armenia's territorial integrity. She emphasized that her visit to Armenia underscores this.
Colonna stated that France will be very vigilant against any threats against the territorial integrity of its friendly partner, Armenia. She also referenced a meeting that took place a year ago between the French President, the Armenian Prime Minister, and the Azerbaijani President in Prague. This meeting, according to Colonna, resulted in progress, including the acceptance of mutual territorial integrity based on the Alma-Ata Declaration, which she considers important and worthy of further advancement.
"I think this is an important progress that needs to be maintained and moved forward. We stand with you, with all those who share the feeling that this commitment must be respected," she said.
