Kirsti Narinen, Ambassador of Finland to South Caucasus, referred to the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and forcible displaced people from NK.
“It was important to see to be able to report, to hear their stories to convey them, to cry with them. Nobody left voluntarily, they were driven out by fear of violance, by long time intimidation”, she posted on X. The Ambassador also quoted the Finnish Mission in South Caucasus’s X post, saying “Historic visit to Yeghegnadzor, Goris and Lachin with EU Mission in Armenia. Thank you EUMA for chance to see how over 100000 people leave their homes with what their car can carry. Stories of fear, anger and relief. Humanitarian challenges immense”.
