Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), General Ali-Akbar Ahmadian, at a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Armen Grigoryan, emphasized the need for efforts by all parties to establish peace and security in the Caucasus region, warning against changes in the geography of the region, Mehr reports.
During his visit to Tehran, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan met with Iran’s SNSC Secretary.
At the meeting, General Ahmadian pointed to the latest developments in the Caucasus region and emphasized the need for efforts on the part of each side to establish peace and security in the region.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to provide the necessary ground and hold a meeting between the countries of the region," he emphasized.
