Ali Akbar Velayati, adviser on international affairs of the spiritual leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated that against the background of Russia's appeasement towards the South Caucasus, Tehran has adopted a clear position: geopolitical changes in the region are a red line for Iran.
"According to the supreme leader, the Islamic Republic believes that the current borders cannot be changed at all," Velayati said.
He also warned the United States not to interfere in the developments in the South Caucasus.
