We are starting a program to support living expenses for our brothers and sisters forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote about it on Facebook.
"AMD 40,000 per person per month will be provided to cover living expenses of each family, plus another AMD 10,000 per person for all utility costs. This program will start on October 1st and will run for at least 6 months. All forcibly displaced people, regardless of age, will benefit from the program.
An exception will be those families who have an apartment in Armenia, as well as people in special care centers who cannot rent an apartment.
As previously announced, the one-time payment of AMD 100,000 to each forcibly displaced person will begin next week.
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan will present the details tomorrow on the Humanitarian Center at 12:00.
The problems of our brothers and sisters forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh will continue to be in the center of our continuous attention," the Prime Minister wrote.
