The issue of signing a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan remains relevant even after the decision to terminate the existence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic on January 1, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has told the media.
"It is most certainly relevant," he said when asked about the relevance of concluding a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan following the abolition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
"Besides, there are plans to develop transport communication and logistics in the region. And that is extremely important for Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia," said Peskov and expressed hope that this work will continue.
