In Dublin the RA NA President Alen Simonyan met with the, the President of the Assembly of the Portuguese Republic Augusto Santos Silva. The sides underscored the positive dynamics of the activeness of the contacts between the two countries on multilateral platforms and the development of bilateral relations in recent times.
The parties spoke about the situation in the region and the problems of gross violation of the rights of the Nagorno Karabakh Armenians. The Portuguese colleague noted that he is deeply aware of the situation and offered his condolences to the close relatives of the victims. He expressed willingness to show his support in alleviating the situation and finding solutions.
At the end of the meeting the RA NA President invited his Portuguese colleague to Armenia.
