Former State Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh Ruben Vardanyan has been charged with three charges in Azerbaijan, State Security Service of Azerbaijan reported.
In particular, he was charged with the articles of financing terrorism, participation in the creation and activities of illegal armed organizations or groups, and illegal entry into the territory of Azerbaijan.
In total, Vardanyan faces 14 years in prison.
Ruben Vardanyan was arrested by Azerbaijan at the illegal Azerbaijani checkpoint located near Hakari bridge.
