The head of the European Union delegation in Armenia, Ambassador Vasilis Maragos, laid flowers at the memorial of those who died during and after the 44-day war and made a note on the organization's Facebook page.
"Today, on 27 September, we join all Armenians in mourning for those who died during the 44 day war in 2020 and thereafter. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of those killed and remain committed to working towards a sustainable peace," the statement reads.
