On September 26, at the initiative of the American side, a telephone conversation was held between the US Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Sasha Baker and the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Zakir Hasanov.
The sides exchanged views on the relations between the two countries, the situation in the region and security issues. Prospects for the development of bilateral military cooperation were also discussed.
