After face-to-face talks between President of Turkey Recep Erdogan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who arrived in Nakhijevan on an official visit, a press conference was held, during which Erdogan considered Turkish-Azerbaijani relations exceptional.
"The Turkish-Azerbaijani relations have nothing like this in the world," Erdogan said and added that the two countries continue to work on strengthening ties and cooperation in all fields under the slogan "One nation, two states".
President of Azerbaijan Aliyev also announced that important steps have been taken to increase trade with Turkey. He emphasized that the trade turnover between the two countries increased by 40 percent during the seven months of this year, and expressed confidence that this indicator will increase.
