The flow of our compatriots through Kornidzor to Nagorno-Karabakh did not stop all night, cars in a convoy, mostly private cars, continue to leave Nagorno-Karabakh. "Lurer" correspondent working at the Kornidzor civic reception center said about it live.
First of all, displaced and homeless citizens move to Armenia. In Kornidzor, the process of registration of our compatriots of Nagorno-Karabakh is taking place, after which they are transported by convoy to the center of Goris, and then to the accommodations provided in different settlements. Those settlements are not only in Syunik province, but also in the entire territory of Armenia.
According to the reporter of "Lurer", a convoy of buses went to Nagorno-Karabakh a little while ago. Presumably, they will transport people who are homeless and don't have their own car to get around in Goris.
Kornidzor is staffed by employees of the Syunik Regional Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, migration and civil services, volunteers, emergency workers, as well as representatives of the Red Cross. A psychological service is also provided on site.
The ICRC continues its work in the direction of receiving a new batch of vehicles and transporting the wounded to Armenia.
