Nagorno-Karabakh President Samvel Shahramanyan held a working consultation with the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs today, gave a number of recommendations and instructions to organize the safe movement of citizens to Armenia, as well as the internal security of our compatriots in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), road traffic and maintaining public order. This was reported by the state emergency service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"Taking into account the created situation and the large flow of people with personal vehicles to the Republic of Armenia, it caused traffic jams.
For that reason, we urge:
Not to panic and not to rush in order not to overload the corridor connecting Artsakh to Armenia.
The relocation of the population is carried out in stages, for which there are no set deadlines. The process will continue until they fully ensure the transportation of citizens who wish to travel to Armenia.
The State Service of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues its mission, carrying out search and rescue operations for the remains of dead servicemen and civilians, as well as for our compatriots the whereabout of which is still unknown.
Minister of Internal Affairs Karen Sargsyan presented the works carried out in this direction to the president.
Hotline of the operative headquarters: 047 957551," the message states.
