Yevgeny Feodorov, a member of the ruling 'United Russia' party of the Russian Federation, deputy of the State Duma, referred to the latest regional developments. He spoke about the competition of nations, noted that Armenia was weak and lost the competition.
"Azerbaijan found allies in the form of Turkey, was able to neutralize Iran and come to an agreement with Russia. I think Armenia will gradually cease to exist as an independent state, and before that Russia will restore its control on the borders of 1945," he said.
"We will also restore our control over that territory [ed.: Armenia]. Yerevan will return to its previous position, when it was part of our historical reality. There will be a governorship or something else," Feodorov added.
