Nagorno-Karabakh Health Minister Vardan Tadevosyan presented the situation there, gave information about the work being done to transfer the wounded to Armenia. The minister emphasized that the situation is changing every minute, the numbers are also changing.
"We have several dozen victims, among them there are also civilians, there is a child, whose brother is also in a serious condition, another child, now we are trying to transfer the remains of that child, his mother and the dead child to Armenia, we are working to organize that transfer. I was informed that finally our wounded from Martuni were brought to the "Republican Hospital", the treatment will continue, we have problems with moving the remains of our dead and seriously wounded from Martakert.
The Russian peacekeepers changed plans and we have no escort. I think tomorrow we will finally be able to do it again with the help of the Red Cross. We are working, we really want our compatriots with more than 30 serious injuries to be transferred to Armenia at least today to organize treatment there in different hospitals. We are working with representatives of Armenia's Ministry of Health. I am glad that the ICRC agreed to escort the vehicles from Armenia to Stepanakert, pick up our wounded and transport them to Armenia, there are cases when due to delay we do not manage to save the life of a severely wounded person," he said.
