Hungary has blocked the statement of the European Union (EU) member countries, which condemns Azerbaijan's military aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh. Rikard Jozwiak, Europe editor for RFE/RL, wrote about this on X (former Twitter), citing European officials.
This was supposed to be a statement by the 27 EU member countries, but Hungary blocked it, Jozwiak wrote, posting a statement from EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, which said the EU condemns Azerbaijan's military action against the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh and regrets the casualties as a result of this aggravation of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
