Azerbaijan is discussing all the components of reintegration, said Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan.
"The Armenians of Karabakh will be granted religious, social and economic rights by Azerbaijan. Today, humanitarian cargo will reach Karabakh, as a priority, the issue of fuel for schools, hospitals, as well as emergency services will be resolved," Hajiyev stated.
Aliyev's aide noted that there should be no problems for former soldiers and fighters, amnesty is planned for them.
"Those who lay down their weapons and promise not to use force against the Azerbaijani forces will be released and decide whether to stay in Karabakh or go to Armenia," said the assistant of the Azerbaijani president.
Hajiyev noted that the Azerbaijani model of reintegration implies that if someone does not accept Baku's proposals, he is free to leave Karabakh. Aliyev's assistant also referred to the Russian peacekeeping troops in Nagorno-Karabakh, noting that according to the 2020 statement, Russian peacekeepers will remain and perform their duties until 2025.
