Forza Italia deputy, member of the foreign relations committee Andrea Orsini referred to the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, Facebook page of Armenia's Embassy to Italy reports.
"I cannot but share the urgent call of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, to immediately stop all military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh. It is necessary to return to the full passability of the Lachin corridor," Orsini's post said.
"Any attempt to forcibly change the status quo and displace the Armenian population in that area cannot be accepted by the international community. I hope that Turkey, our important ally in NATO, can also carry out a deterrent action," he said.
