Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on September 19 in New York met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia and OSCE Chairman-in-Office Bujar Osmani within the framework of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
The meeting focused on the grave security and humanitarian problems resulting from the ongoing Azerbaijani large-scale aggression against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, the foreign ministry said in a readout.
“Minister Mirzoyan stated that Azerbaijan, guided by a sense of impunity, is perceiving the absence of restraining measures by international organizations as arbitrariness and is seeking to achieve ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh through the explicit use of force. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of urgently initiating the relevant mechanisms of the OSCE,” the foreign ministry said.
