Azerbaijan's attack on Nagorno-Karabakh was discussed at the session of the European Parliament's Foreign Relations Committee. Armenpress learned from MEP Lars Patrick Berg that a letter was sent to the European Commission regarding Azerbaijan's attack on Nagorno-Karabakh. The letter, which Berg is among the signatories, calls on the EU to take action to stop ethnic cleansing.
The European Commission was also asked questions about the intention of the European External Action Service in response to Azerbaijan’s attack on Stepanakert, as well as what sanctions the EU is going to apply against the Azerbaijani authorities responsible for the ceasefire violation.
