The Foreign Ministry of Norway referred to the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and aggression by Azerbaijan.
“There are reports of civilian victims from artillery shelling of Nagorno-Karabakh. Continued use of Azerbaijani military power may force the Armenian population to flee the region and create a humanitarian catastrophy. Such a tragedy must be avoided at all cost. A heavy burden of responsibility rests on Baku to ensure the security and well-being of the Armenian population of the region”, Anniken Huitfeldt, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway said in a statement issued on X.
