Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Army issued a statement on Azerbaijani false news.
“On Sep 19, Azerbaijani MoD disseminated the second completely false statement, claiming that on Sep 18 btwn 20:28-20:34 the Defense Forces had suppressed the GPS positioning system of a civil aircraft flying on the Baku-Tbilisi route through the Artsakh airspace.
This statement of Azerbaijan’s MoD is a complete lie. The aircraft flying on the Baku-Tbilisi route doesn’t need either cross the airspace of Artsakh or even approach it.
By periodically spreading such false statements, Azerbaijan aims to divert the attention of the international community from the humanitarian disaster caused by the illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor and to prepare an information ground for another provocation”, the Defence Army said in a statement.
