Nagorno-Karabakh President Samvel Shahramanyan met with a group of displaced residents of Hadrut region. This was reported by the Main Information Department of the Nagorno-Karabakh President's Office.
"On September 18 President of the Artsakh Republic Samvel Shahramanyan met with a group of residents displaced from the Hadrut region as a result of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan in 2020. The group was led by the head of the regional administration Artur Baghdasaryan and the mayor of Hadrut Vahan Savadyan.
The social problems created by the displaced people as a result of the blockade of Artsakh were on the discussion agenda. President Samvel Shahramanyan noted that the Government will continue support programs aimed at mitigating the effects of the blockade, focusing on vulnerable groups.
The Head of the State presented to the participants of the meeting the humanitarian disaster and security challenges developed in the Republic, as well as the steps taken by the Government in that direction," the statement reads.
