In recent days, some Azerbaijani media are trying to present the transfer of a group of citizens to the Republic of Armenia by the Russian peacekeeping troops as the evacuation of servicemen. We consider it necessary to mention that there are no servicemen who are Armenia's citizens in Nagorno-Karabakh, as the official Stepanakert and Yerevan have announced many times.
As reported by the NK InforCenter, the persons transferred from NK by Russian peacekeepers are students of Armenian and foreign higher education institutions, citizens of the Russian Federation and their family members, as well as specialists and workers who are citizens of Armenia involved in the fields of construction and mining in the republic, who are under siege by Azerbaijan. As a result, they lost their jobs and could not return to their place of permanent residence.
