Armenia's law enforcement agencies are obliged to respond to the publications appearing in the press. Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced in the Parliament, referring to the information that the National Security Service is looking for 'Wagnerians' in Armenia.
"As far as I know, it is a norm of criminal law and criminal procedure law. As far as I know, there was such a publication in Telegram channels. The NSS verifies the published information within its jurisdiction, and there is nothing unusual," the Prime Minister added.
Referring to the question of Agnesa Khamoyan, deputy of the 'Armenia' faction, whether he is afraid that the Russian Federation may make a revolution in Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan said: "Only the people of Armenia can make a revolution in the Republic of Armenia, and the people of Armenia made that revolution."
Speaking about the Rome Statute ratification process, he mentioned: "The government has sent the Rome Statute to the National Assembly and it is my position and the position of our faction that it will be fully ratified. This has nothing to do with the Armenia-Russia relations, this has to do with Armenia’s security issues."
