Azerbaijan has not yet responded to Armenia's latest proposals regarding the peace treaty, Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the RA National Assembly Sargis Khandanyan informed in a briefing with journalists in the parliament. Khandanyan noted that although the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh and the aggressive policy of Azerbaijan have a negative impact on the negotiations, this does not mean that Armenia should back down from the goal of resolving the issues peacefully and signing a peace treaty, so it is ready to return to the negotiating table at any time. Khandanyan also referred to the entry of humanitarian goods sent by Russia through Aghdam to Nagorno-Karabakh.
Sargis Khandanyan (Member of 'Civil Contract' faction, Chairman of the NA Foreign Relations Committee) - Armenia's position continues to be that the Lachin Corridor, according to the November 9 statement and the decision of the International Court of Justice, should be immediately opened for all types of transportation in two directions. And regardless of what roads will be launched, when and in what format, our position and demand remains that the Lachin Corridor must be opened.
... I would not like to comment on the other roads, because it is for the NK Government and people to decide, and I don't think that Armenia should interfere here.
