The International Committee of the Red Cross visited all Armenians detained in Azerbaijan. Among them were Vagif Khachatryan, who was kidnapped from the illegal Hagari checkpoint, Gagik Oskanyan, a reservist who was captured in August. The representatives of the Red Cross also drew attention to the issues related to the conditions of detention of the persons, their health condition, about which, however, the Armenian office of the committee cannot provide details.
"Of course, I cannot reveal many details of our procedures, because our work is mainly confidential. The only thing I can confirm is the fact of the meeting at the end of August, the beginning of September, that we visited all the detained Armenians once again. ... Within the framework of the visits, which took place in the form of private conversations, we gave everyone the opportunity to contact family members," said Amatuni.
