American businessman and SpaceX chief Elon Musk denied CNN's claims that access to his Starlink service in Crimea was suspended in 2022.
Musk emphasized that the system was not connected in that area. At the same time, he admitted that he received a request from Kyiv to activate the Starlink system all the way to Sevastopol. Musk explained that he rejected the application due to the fear of hitting the Russian fleet.
"Obviously, the goal is to sink most of the anchored Russian fleet. If I agreed to their request, SpaceX would become an obvious accomplice of a major military operation and escalation of the conflict," the businessman said.
