Energy cooperation is the basis of relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during a joint press conference with Hungarian Foreign MinisterSzijjártó Péter in Budapest.
"We continue to develop our strategic partnership through the Southern Gas Corridor, the largest energy infrastructure project in Europe. Hungary is a participant of the new initiative Solidarity Ring, the purpose of which is to deliver Caspian gas to Europe through the Southern Gas Corridor and contribute to Europe's energy security," the minister said.
