In August, the annual inflation in Turkey reached 58.94% from 47.8% in July, according to the statistical institute of the country.
"In August, monthly inflation was 9.09%, and annual inflation was 58.94%," the report says.
Meanwhile, the Independent Inflation Analysis Group (ENAG) notes that the figure was 128.05% year-on-year.
Earlier, the Central Bank of Turkey predicted inflation of up to 58 percent by the end of the year.
